Not wanting to messup a &#8220;good&#8221; car we used the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genuinesaab.com\/cars\/23i.htm\" target=\"blank\">2.3i project car<\/a>.  This way no loss if it is too much.  If it works without be being too twitchy on the highway next up is my viggen.  <\/p>\n<p>Basically the modifications involved Steve machining some new new tapered inserts for the tierods on the CNC lathe and having Adam weld them in place with increased linkage ratio.   6-8&#8243; of snow yesterday so no test drive or alignment yet. <\/p>\n<p>Holding them in the mill was a bit tricky.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/genuinesaab.com\/gallery\/albums\/23iSteeringMods\/IMG_7909.sized.jpg\" target=\"blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/genuinesaab.com\/gallery\/albums\/23iSteeringMods\/IMG_7909.thumb.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/genuinesaab.com\/gallery\/albums\/23iSteeringMods\/IMG_7908.sized.jpg\" target=\"blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/genuinesaab.com\/gallery\/albums\/23iSteeringMods\/IMG_7908.thumb.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Steve (Machinist) saying get out of here and let me get this done. Poor old princess..
