{"id":1029,"date":"2011-07-05T10:32:12","date_gmt":"2011-07-05T15:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/trolltuner.com\/?p=1029"},"modified":"2011-07-05T11:41:54","modified_gmt":"2011-07-05T16:41:54","slug":"drag-car-meet-roadrace-slicks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trolltuner.com\/?p=1029","title":{"rendered":"Drag car meet Roadrace slicks."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the long weekend I got another gearbox built. \u00a0 Quiafe F35 lsd, 4.45 final, short5th gear and a few other tricks.<\/p>\n<p>Put my roadrace slicks on it and headed out. \u00a0It was only 95 air temp. \u00a0\ud83d\ude09 \u00a0 \u00a0 This chassis setup surely does not like the stiff wall slicks. \u00a0It is not &#8220;right&#8221; at full power. \u00a0Feels just like a stock viggen wallow but at a much higher frequency. \u00a0I left the gopro at the shop and holding the iphone was not working too well. \u00a0It was all I could do to keep it out of the dirt trying to sneak up on full power. \u00a0 \u00a0Either way ~75miles and no problems with the gearbox or the motor even with the record heat. \u00a0 \u00a0The car is surprisingly drivable considering it is 700whp in a 2500lb shell.<\/p>\n<p>Digging into the steering rack as the next project. \u00a0Pretty sure all of the problems are based there.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the long weekend I got another gearbox built. \u00a0 Quiafe F35 lsd, 4.45 final, short5th gear and a few other tricks.
